About Me...

When I was a kid I had a pet worm named Fred. He was such a good worm. I also use to bury dead birds in shoe boxes in my back yard; always included a prayer for the bird. I know there are birds in heaven that are so grateful for what I did.

I blew up my dad's 1971 GMC Sierra pick-up truck when I was in high school...I ran it out of oil. I sure miss that truck.

I love reading Calvin and Hobbes, but I haven't in a while. I really should start reading Calvin and Hobbes again . One of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes quotes is "We're so busy watching out for what's just ahead of us that we don't take time to enjoy where we are.” I think this can teach us a lot...like take time to smell the roses, we need to take time to assess ourselves where we are and stop worrying so much about what tomorrow or the next day or week, or month, or year may bring. Take care of now and find enjoyment in the present!

Aside from all this, I am flip-flop wearing wife, mother, and a photographer. I am most comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans. I drink too much diet coke and love naps. Vanilla ice cream cones melt my heart, and my favorite part of them is the last bite of cone! Yum, Yum, Yum!
